Quick heat loss calculation:

A general rule of thumb for Primary Heating of an insulated commercial or residential room is to use 10 Watts/SqFt of heat.
Example: a 10ft x 10ft room is 100 square feet.
100 x 10 W/SqFt = 1000 Watts.
Note: Supplementing existing heaters such as a forced air furnace system would require less wattage.
