Uncoupling membrane has become widely used to prevent cracked tile and grout as well as providing a waterproofing layer. It is typically made of polyethylene and the leading brand is Ditra from Schluter. We sell heating cable from 7 different manufacturers and have heard from them about this revolution that is coming in floor warming for years. So this is quickly becoming the future of floor warming.
